Tasting Note

This wine is bright ruby-garnet in colour. With the grapes sourced from different sub-areas of Serralunga, there is a spectrum of perfumes on the nose, ranging from spicy to sweet, floral and fruit. The palate is a classic example of the region; full-bodied, elegant and well structured, with great ageing ability.

Product Notes

Massolino Barolo hails from Piedmont, Italy, renowned for its opulent wines crafted from the indigenous Nebbiolo grape. It presents an intense ruby hue with a complex nose fusing floral notes with hints of ripe fruits and spices. On the palate, this refined wine boasts compelling depth, showcasing layers of cherry, plum, and truffle accompanied by firm yet subdued tannins. Its full-bodied texture and subtle acidity culminate in an elegantly persistent finish. Aged for a minimum of 38 months, Massolino Barolo exemplifies both the vigour and finesse characteristic of Italian terroir. It makes a sublime pairing with rich meat dishes.
