Black crimson in colour, this wine leaps from the glass with powerful aromatics of blueberries, fresh plum, licorice and nuances of chocolate biscuit. The seamless texture is laced with fresh berry fruit, coffee, vanilla cream and warm spice, giving us a full-bodied Shiraz with an endless depth of flavour and great length.

Underlying all this is an earthy spiciness - a peppered nod to its Shiraz heritage. This full-bodied red wine, laden with velvety tannins, commands a long, sensuous finish. Blue Eyed Boy's robust flavours and robust eccentricity, makes it a celebration, perfect to accompany a hearty roast or a grandiose, twilight charcuterie board.

Nestled amid the verdant vineyards of South Australia’s celebrated McLaren Vale, Mollydooker winery stands as a testament to the region’s rich viticultural heritage, and an emblem of craft mastery. The winery, found in 2005 by husband-and-wife team Sarah and Sparky Marquis, derives its unique moniker, Mollydooker, from an Australian slang term for a left-handed person, which both founders are.
