Product Notes

Penfolds Max's Shiraz Cabernet is a masterful blend, originating from Australia's most prestigious vineyards. This wine features a radiant ruby colour that hints at its vibrancy. It presents an intense bouquet of dark berries, tempered by subtle notes of chocolate and spice. On the palate, it boasts a perfect balance, a brilliant integration of ripe fruit, refined tannins, and a lingering finish. A touch of oak contributes to its complexity and depth. Penfolds Max's Shiraz Cabernet indeed crafts an unforgettable tasting experience, making it an excellent accompaniment for roasted red meats or matured cheese.

Tasting Notes

Colour - Magenta core with crimson edges. Nose- A gorgeous amalgamation of two expressive varietals, each flattering the other in a synergistic union. Ripe cherry and Swiss milk chocolate aromatics invites further investigation. A second swirl releases cabernet varietalderived spearmint, interwoven with raspberry, cinnamon and fennel. Palate - A lovely balanced palate with fresh red currant and plum fruit backed by lively acidity. There is more than a hint of charcouterie with cured fennel sausage foremost in mind. Seasoned oak has integrated well to deliver a creamy texture and cola spice nuances. Fruit derived tannins are both fine and velvety
