Product Notes

Renowned for its acclaim, Pikes Traditionale Riesling is a radiant example of Australian craftsmanship. Its nose advertises enchanting citrus and floral notes, punctuated by charming hints of minerality. On the palate, pleasing high notes of lime zest and green apple create a symphony of crisp, palate-cleansing flavours. It is a beautifully balanced wine, having a sublime interplay between acid and sugar. The clarity, depth, and zest of this Riesling make it a beautiful choice, either on its own or paired with a fine meal. Age-worthy yet accessible, the Pikes Traditionale Riesling wonderfully demonstrates the potential of Australian white wine.

Tasting Notes

Brilliant pale straw with green hues. Extremely bright and aromatic, this wine jumps out of the glass with fragrant white floral and kaffir lime characters. All the hallmarks of an excellent vintage. Crisp acid driven wine, plenty of fresh lime and other citrus flavours. A powerful backbone of mouth-watering acidity keeps it all in check finishing with perfect balance and great length. This release marks the 36th release of the Traditionale, and sits comfortably amongst some of our best vintages. Extremely concentrated, this wine will stand the test of time. Drink now or cellar for 10+ years.
