Tasting Note

This vibrant yet slightly hazy orange wine owes its appearance to a natural, minimal-intervention winemaking process—crafted without stabilisation, fining, or filtration, and containing only minimal sulphur. On the nose, it reveals an expressive bouquet of citrus, grapefruit, crisp apple, and white-fleshed fruits. These bright, fruity notes carry through to the palate, where they’re elegantly balanced by hints of Mediterranean herbs and a lively backbone of fresh acidity.

Product Notes

Rallo Vicoletto Catarratto wine is a premium white wine from Sicily, Italy. Produced by the renowned Rallo winery, this wine boasts distinctive floral and citrus flavours, courtesy of the indigenous Catarratto grape. Beautifully golden in colour, this wine offers a delightful freshness with notes of exotic fruit, resulting in a captivating, balanced palate. Ideal for a wide range of dishes, particularly seafood, this delightful wine brings a true taste of Sicily. Its careful crafting imbues it with a vibrant acidity and pleasing minerality that lingers on the palate. A true testament to Sicilian winemaking tradition.

About the Winery

Founded in 1860, Rallo is one of Sicily’s historic family-owned wine estates, with roots deeply connected to the island’s long viticultural tradition. Established by the Rallo family in the western part of Sicily, the winery has remained under family ownership for more than five generations and today is managed by siblings José and Antonio Vesco, descendants of the founding family. The estate is headquartered near Marsala in western Sicily, an area historically associated with fortified wine production but now increasingly recognised for high-quality modern Sicilian wines.
