Tasting Note

An intense red colour, with a lively blue rim. With aromas of ripe red fruit, it is both fresh and attractive at the same time. On the palate - it is rounded and full, with direct notes that echo the␉fruit found on␉the nose and it has the typical minerality of Priorat - llicorella soils.

Product Notes

Scala Dei El Tribut is a sublime Spanish red wine crafted in Priorat region. This full-bodied wine displays notable complexity with flavours encompassing ripe plum, dark berries, and a hint of spice. Matured in oak barrels, it demonstrates a luscively smooth palate layered with subtle smoky undertones, that lends it an elegant finish. This fine wine retains the richness of Grenache, Syrah and Carignan varietals from the historic vineyards of Scala Dei. Perfect to savour alone or to pair with rich dishes, it's indeed a 'Tribute' to the art of winemaking.

About the Winery

Scala Dei

Nestled in the scenic landscape of Priorat, Spain sits the remarkable Scala Dei winery. Founded in the twelfth century and steeped in history; the winery was initially run by Carthusian monks who made significant contributions to viticulture (the cultivation of grapevines) in the region. Today, this is among the oldest wineries in the locality and is celebrated for preserving this historic tradition.
