Product Notes

Hailing from Sicily's noble Tasca d’Almerita family, Tenuta Tascante Buonora is a distinguished white wine embraced for its elegant, opulent character. The exquisite blend of Carricante grapes present a delectable bouquet of apples, wildflowers, and citrus hints. A vibrant, zesty palate is well-rounded with charming mineral undertones, offering a snappy finish. This medium-bodied wine with good acidity pairs beautifully with fish and white meat dishes. Its bright golden colour speaks of Sicily's generous sun, while reflecting the richness of its volcanic soils. Tenuta Tascante Buonora implores an effortless balmy Mediterranean vitality, an unquestionable embodiment of the region's winemaking excellence.

Tasting Notes

Historically one of the vineyards used for its acidity and productivity, the Carricante variety is probably one of the most interesting multi-faceted varieties. Mineral and sulfur notes, hints of hydrocarbons, even in the younger vintages. It’s the expression of the vertical elements of the wines of the Volcano. A wine that reflects the nature of the territory it comes from, the Etna Volcano.
