Tasting Note

This wine has gorgeous aromatics with violets and red berries coming to the fore. There is abundant fruit with notes of sour cherry, raspberry, blueberry, and a touch of rhubarb. Underlying savoury characters include graphite and cured meat, and some toasted spices. Medium weight, with very fine tannins. Fresh and enticing, perfumed and delicious.

Product Notes

The Tolpuddle Vineyard Coal River Valley Pinot Noir radiates a distinction that can only hail from the fertile soils of Tasmania. This sumptuous bottle showcases the region's finesse, presenting a symphony of cherry and berry notes delicately layered with hints of spice and anise. Subtle undertones of natural oak encapsulate the rich bouquet and the wine's elegant structure. It's an ethereal Pinot Noir that embodies an exuberant balance of crisp acidity and finely-grained tannins. A confident companion beside a hearty beef stew or a sophisticated lamb roast, making every sip a thoroughly worthwhile indulgence.
