Tasting Note

Violet and aubergines with a garnet rim. Very fragrant lifted aromatic of blue and red fruits such as mulberry, cassis, blueberry and cranberry. The secondary aromas intertwine the fruit freshness with earthy like complexity such as granite, eucalypt, camphor and sandalwood. The palates fine-grained tannins and primary fruit are well balanced with an elongated tension and taut posture that gives a confidence to cellar for added complexity and harmony. Drink or hold for 15 years. Ready from 2024. Serve at 16C with spicy Mexican or Texas BBQ.

Product Notes

Torbreck The Gask is an Australian wine hailing from the Eden Valley region. It showcases old vine Shiraz from the elevated hillside vineyard. Imbued with an intense dark hue, this wine reveals a bouquet of black fruit, mocha, and oak nuances. The full-bodied palate mirrors these flavours, impeccably balanced with a rich, silky texture and robust, velvety tannins. A vibrant acidity provides lasting freshness, while a lingering finish rounds off this red's charming character. Torbreck The Gask is definitely one to savour, pairing exquisitely with hearty dishes, enhancing an evening of fine dining.
