Product Notes

Vietti Cascinetta Moscato d'Asti is an exceptional Italian wine, evident by its refined balance of sweetness and acidity. With an appealing straw-yellow hue and slightly spicy notes, hints of sage and citrus are also detectable in its lavish bouquet. The splendid palate releases distinct notes of fresh peach and pear, culminating in a slightly effervescent yet satisfyingly smooth finish. Molded by the generous Piedmont region, this beguiling Moscato d’Asti is a charming choice for any special occasion or as a delightful dessert wine. Best served chilled.

Tasting Notes

Pale sunshine yellow color and slight frizzante, this Moscato d’Asti has intense aromas of peaches, rose petals and ginger. On the palate, it is delicately sweet and sparkling with balanced acidity, good complexity and a finish of fresh apricots.

About the Winery

Vietti

Established in the heart of Piedmont, Italy, Vietti Winery has been a beacon of top-quality wines over a century. Known for its exceptional range of Barolo, Barbera, and Barbaresco wines, it has garnished acclaim within the international wine industry.

The centuries-old winery offers a unique blend of tradition and innovation, producing some of the most exquisite labels in the world. Embracing modern, sustainable practices, the winemakers at Vietti preserve the authentic heritage of the Piedmont region.

Steeped in history, Vietti Winery was officially founded in 1873. However, the family’s roots in vine cultivation stretch back even further. Ettore Vietti fostered the family’s passion by bottling the first Vietti wine in the early 20th century. Around the 1960s, Alfredo Currado, Ettore's son-in-law, revitalised the winery with new production techniques and was one of the first to recognise the value of single-vineyard wines. His pioneering efforts not only elevated Vietti's stature but also significantly influenced Piedmont’s wine industry.

The diverse soil composition and favourable climate of Piedmont provide the perfect environment for vine growth. Combined with Vietti's wine making prowess, this allows them to produce varietals that express the unique terroir of the region. Their exceptional wines are glorified for their profound complexity, remarkable ageing potential, and refined elegance.

From lush vineyards to an impressive underground wine cellar, Vietti Winery is truly an enchanting place to visit. Asides from tasting their delectable wines, one can also enjoy curated wine-tour experiences and immerse in the sweeping panoramas of the surrounding vine covered hills.

In a glass of Vietti, flavours of an Italian legacy unfolds revealing a story of excellence and a commitment to making quality wine for future generations to savour; Vietti represents the epitome of what the Piedmontese industry has to offer a wine lover.
