Chateau Bellecroix

Château Bellecroix is a Bordeaux Supérieur estate whose history dates back to the 1800's. It is located on the left bank of the Garonne River, just south of the city of Bordeaux; technically therefore in the Graves region of the Médoc. In the 1970's it was acquired by Albert Yung, the owner of Château Haut Calens. He modernised the estate and replanted the vineyards. 35 hectares are under vine, planted with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot on clay and gravel soils. The average age of the vines is 25 years. The Bellecroix style is elegant and silky-textured; these are rich and spicy wines which represent superb value for money.
