Located in Epanomi, a unique viticulture area on the outskirts of Thessaloniki, Greece, is the notable Ktima Gerovassiliou winery. This highly-acclaimed wine estate is steeped in heritage; the Gerovassiliou family line has been invigorated by its passion for great wines and strong dedication to the vine and its fruit, spanning several generations.

Over recent years, Ktima Gerovassiliou has seen a steady increase in their prominence and reputation within the global wine community. The main reason for this elevated recognition, is their pursuance of excellence in wine-making, which they achieve by combining traditional Greek wine-making techniques with innovative viticulture practices. A turning point for the vineyard occurred when the family decided to rescue the Malagousia variety from extinction, a white aromatic varietal said to have been Sir Gerovassiliou's favourite.
