Product Notes

The Domenico Clerico Barolo del Comune di Monforte d'Alba is a red wine haling from Italy's prestigious Piedmont region. This Barolo is known for its deep ruby colour, powerful aromas of ripe red fruits, violets, dried herbs, tobacco and spice. On the palate, it offers a balanced acidity with rich tannins, leading to an extended, textural finish. The wine epitomises the robust style of the Monforte d'Alba commune, ageing gracefully and intensifying in complexity over the years. A worthy representation of Italian craftsmanship, it's a splendid accompaniment to hearty meaty dishes.
