Product Notes

Coopers Creek Malbec is an exquisite New Zealand wine with a seductive bouquet of ripe plums and violets. It boasts a rich palate, teeming with flavours of dark fruits and delicate, smoky undertones. The layers of complexity combined with structured tannins offers depth, making it decidedly pleasurable. The wine has a velvety finish and leaves a long-lasting impression on the palate. Aged in French Oak barrels, it harmoniously blends robustness and sophistication. Brilliant paired with succulent meats, it's an outstanding choice for wine aficionados seeking adventure in every sip. Coopers Creek Malbec is indeed an irresistible dialogue between old world elegance and new world charm.

Tasting Notes

Colour: The colour in this wine is stunning. A black core leads to a bright red-purple rim. Bouquet: Plummy notes intermingled with the ‘wild berry’ character that typifies New Zealand Malbec. A touch of oak completes the picture. Palate: This full bodied red has an excellent balance between fruit, acid and tannin. The overall effect is to coat the palate from front to back and side to side. There is a strong core of sweet black fruit on the finish.
