Product Notes
Main Divide Pinot Noir, curated from the vineyards of New Zealand's South Island, is a beautifully layered wine with enticing flavours. It boasts a lustrous ruby hue, exuding aromas of ripe cherries, wild herbs and spicy oak, which mingle enticingly on the nose. On the palate, it reveals complex flavours of red fruit, violets, and delicate spice, encapsulated in silky tannins. This medium-bodied Pinot Noir is wondrously smooth and sublimely balanced, concluding with a long, elegant finish. An excellent companion to hearty dishes, this wine is an epitome of the finesse and character typical to New Zealand's viticulture.
Tasting Notes
Upon release it is deep ruby in colour. A complex patchwork of both red fruit and savoury aromas unfurl from the glass, with raspberry, cherry, and pomegranate soon giving way to mushroom, leather, vanilla and baking spice. Generous fruit weight is backed by bright acidity and silky tannins that rapidly expand in the mouth. This gives the wine a pleasing tension that excites the palate, creating length and setting up for a rewarding finish
