Royal Oporto Late Bottled Vintage Porto is a rich, characterful fortified wine from Portugal’s Douro Valley. Deep ruby in colour, it offers aromas of ripe blackberries, dark cherries and plums, often accompanied by notes of chocolate, spice and dried herbs. On the palate, its generous fruit is balanced by fresh acidity and velvety tannins, leading to a long, warming finish. Aged longer in cask than traditional vintage port, it is ready to enjoy on release. Serve it slightly cool alongside mature blue cheese, dark chocolate desserts or roasted nuts. It also makes a satisfying after-dinner drink for relaxed occasions.
