Product Notes

Journey's End V2 Merlot is a captivating wine produced at South African vineyards sheltered by the Hottentots Holland Mountain Range. This Merlot invites you with vibrant aromas of rich dark fruits, plums and full-bodied flavours of chocolate and soft spices. Matured in French oak barrels, it creates an extra layer of complexity. With perfect balance between acidity and ripe tannins, this wine is elegantly smooth and velvety. The finish is satisfyingly long, with lingering, savoury notes. Simultaneously rich and robust, Journey’s End V2 Merlot is an excellent companion to sophisticated meals or enjoyed alone for a relaxing evening.

Upfront fruit, with some minty undertones on the nose. Fruit cake and herbal eucalyptus notes give the wine an earthy character. Gentle, ripe fruit on the palate, with firm tannins and a supple sweetness that gives the wine a lingering aftertaste; it is full-bodied and complex.
