Tasting Note

Deep brick red in colour with a bright, youthful appearance, this wine opens with an intense bouquet of blueberries, raspberries, red currant, mulberry, and plum, lifted by hints of musk, violet, and warm baking spices. Subtle layers of cedar, tobacco, and tar add depth, evoking a classic cigar box nuance. The palate is generous and well-structured, brimming with black currant, cherry, and dark berry flavours over a medium to full body. Bright acidity and silky, chocolate-like tannins provide balance and finesse, leading to a long, elegant finish with lingering notes of cedar, toasty oak, and a hint of star anise.

Product Notes

Moss Wood Cabernet Sauvignon is a full-bodied Australian red wine, renowned for its sophistication and robust character. It astounds with a bouquet featuring blackcurrant, plum, and notes of high-quality oak. With its exceptional balance between tannins and acidity, this wine pairs well with rich meat dishes. Moss Wood Cabernet Sauvignon, aged with great care, is truly a worthy representation of world-class New World Cabernet wines.
