Founded in 1969, Moss Wood is a renowned family-owned winery situated in the picturesque Margaret River wine region in Western Australia. Envisaged originally by doctors Bill and Sandra Pannell, the winery was sold in 1985 to Keith and Clare Mugford. Sharing a keen passion for winemaking, this dynamic couple has held the ownership reins for over three decades now. Situated in Wilyabrup, a sub-region within the globally recognised Margaret River, Moss Wood vineyard spans approximately 16 hectares. The region's favourable climate and soil conditions provide the optimal environment for the estate's flagship Cabernet Sauvignon along with their many other grape varieties.
The property's historical significance is not to be overlooked. Moss Wood was one of the first five wineries established in the Margaret River region.
