Moss Wood

Founded in 1969, Moss Wood is a renowned family-owned winery situated in the picturesque Margaret River wine region in Western Australia. Pioneers in this area, the winery is highly respected for its commitment to quality and integrity and has played an integral part in putting Margaret River on the world's wine map.

Envisaged originally by doctors Bill and Sandra Pannell, the winery was sold in 1985 to Keith and Clare Mugford. Sharing a keen passion for winemaking, this dynamic couple has held the ownership reins for over three decades now. Under their astute leadership, Moss Wood continues its rich legacy of crafting top-quality wine with unswerving attention to detail.

Situated in Wilyabrup, a sub-region within the globally recognised Margaret River, Moss Wood vineyard spans approximately 16 hectares. The property's historical significance is not to be overlooked. Moss Wood was one of the first five wineries established in the Margaret River region.
