Tasting Note

Deep brick red in colour with a bright, youthful clarity, this wine opens with lifted aromas of cherry chocolate, blueberry, blackberry, rose, and a hint of marshmallow, supported by subtle undertones of tar, cedar, and toasted oak. The palate mirrors the nose with vibrant notes of blueberry and red currant, carried by a medium to full body and a firm yet approachable tannin structure. Gentle, linear acidity and well-integrated French oak add finesse and texture, while the lively fruit and supple balance make this wine especially enjoyable in its youth.

Product Notes

Moss Wood Amy's wine is a harmonious blend of Bordeaux varieties, primarily Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot. Hailing from the Margaret River region in Australia, this wine exhibits a vibrant, ruby-red hue. Its rich bouquet is imbued with enticing aromas of black fruits, violets and faint hints of oak. On the palate, Moss Wood Amy's wine displays a full-bodied character, presenting a medley of ripe fruit flavours merged with subtle tannins. Its lingering finish and balanced acidity make it a perfect companion to robust meat dishes. This wine is best appreciated when allowed to breathe prior to serving.
