Product Notes

Monte del Fra Chiaretto di Bardolino Rosé is a delightfully refreshing Italian sip with striking rosé colour and beautiful composition of fruity notes. Sourced from the Bardolino region, it is made from predominantly Corvina grapes blended with Rondinella and Molinara, offering a balanced medium acidity. This rosé is highly aromatic, giving off fragrances of summer fruits such as strawberries, raspberries and cherry blossoms. On the palate, it presents a deliciously crisp, dry finish. Whether you're having grilled seafood or a fruity dessert, this pretty pink wine promises to be a scintillating accompaniment.

About the Winery

Established in 1958, the Monte del Fra winery is nestled in the heart of the classic wine-growing region of Italy, beautifully situated in the village of Custoza, located between Verona and lake Garda. This family-run estate has been meticulously curating an array of distinguished wines for over six decades, weaving together traditional methods with modern technologies.

Sprawling across an impressive 205 hectares, this sophisticated winery primarily nurtures indigenous grape varieties, including Garganega, Trebbiano and Corvina. Additionally, the vineyard also tends to international grape varieties such as Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon. Committed to sustainable farming, the winery ingeniously optimises natural resources to reduce its impact on the environment.

Monte del Fra is renowned for its emphasis on quality over quantity; painstakingly handpicking the grapes, and maturing them in both oak barrels and stainless-steel tanks. This careful approach ensures each bottle captures the unique character and richness of the region’s terroir. Furthermore, Monte del Fra has earned both domestic and international recognition for their excellence in wine production, notably the estate's Amarone and Valpolicella reds.

Not only is Monte del Fra a testament to the timeless tradition of winemaking, but it’s also a place where visitors can indulge in unique sensory experiences. Wine enthusiasts are welcomed to relish in guided tours and tastings, exploring the vineyard and sipping upon their fine wines amidst the picturesque landscape, A rolling panorama of verdant terrain, adorned by a rich biodiversity, sets the idyllic backdrop for a day of languid vineyard strolling, wine tasting, and relishing the vineyard's culinary delights.
