Founded in 2010, by viticulture enthusiast Alison Nightingale, Albourne Estate is devoted to creating world-class still and sparkling wines that capture its unique terroir.

Set amongst a sprawling 30 acres of vineyards, the sight of ripened grapes in the gentle morning sunshine is indeed a sight to behold. The vineyard primarily grows mainstay cool-climate grape varieties such as Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, but also features lesser-known types such as Bacchus and Ortega. The sandy and silty loam-based soil, coupled with the climatic conditions, offers the ideal setting for crafting the estate’s exceptional wines.

Notably, Albourne Estate has quickly established an impressive reputation for its innovative and sustainable winemaking practices. The winery utilises a minimal intervention approach in the vineyard and winery, and all of their wines are vegan. It was the first UK winery to create a Frizzante and produces England's first vermouth. The winery is also home to the UK's only solar-powered wine producer.
