Product Notes

The Carpineto Dogajolo Toscana Rosso IGT is an exceptional blend of Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from Tuscany. This Italian wine exhibits deep ruby red hues and unclogs a bouquet of dark cherries, red currant, and understated oak. On the palate, it reveals a full-bodied nature with velvety tannins and well-rounded acidity. The finish is persistent and harmonious, laden with subtle nuances of vanilla and cocoa. Its versatility allows it to pair splendidly with a myriad of dishes from chargrilled steaks to hearty pastas. A beautifully crafted wine that is both robust and refined.

Tasting Notes

An innovative baby Super-Tuscan, Dogajolo combines the power and deep flavours of a young wine, with the elegance and balance from the oak ageing. Full bodied, yet soft on the palate with fruity cherry notes interlaced with coffee, vanilla and spice, this is complex and well-developed.
