About Champagne Gosset

Established in 1584, Champagne Gosset is the oldest known winery in the region - a bastion of history and tradition in the art of champagne making. Interestingly, its longevity is a testament to the rich heritage, expertise, and commitment to quality that have been passed down through generations of the Gosset family.

The winery is situated in the quaint town of Aÿ, in the northeastern part of France, which is renowned for its champagne. The grapes harvested from Aÿ's vineyards are considered amongst the finest in the region - a trademark that's distinctly Gosset.

Following a change of hands in 1994, the winery is now helmed by the Cointreau family. Despite the transition of ownership, the ethos of champagne crafting, deeply rooted in the traditions of the Gosset family, have remained staunchly guarded.

Champagne Gosset is well-known for its range of champagnes, exhibiting remarkable elegance and finesse. They are celebrated for resisting malolactic fermentation, which ensures that they maintain a high level of acidity and remain fresh on the palate. Their signature champagne, the Gosset Grande Reserve, is a blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, that offers a rich and precise balance of taste.

In the realm of Champagne-making; Champagne Gosset is, without a doubt, a name intertwined with heritage, quality, and sophistication.
