Château de Pibarnon

Château de Pibarnon is one of the leading estates of the Bandol appellation, located near La Cadière-d’Azur in Provence, overlooking the Mediterranean from vineyards reaching around 300 metres above sea level. The estate was acquired in 1977 by Henri and Catherine de Saint Victor, who were captivated by the exceptional site and the quality of the wines already being produced there. Starting with just 3.5 hectares of vines, they transformed the property over the following decades, creating terraces and amphitheatre-like vineyards on the region’s distinctive limestone soils.

Today, Château de Pibarnon remains in the Saint Victor family, with their son Éric de Saint Victor taking over management in 2000. Under his direction, the estate has grown to around 52 hectares and has become a benchmark for Bandol, particularly for its Mourvèdre-led reds and gastronomic rosés. The vineyards have been organically certified since 2019, reflecting the estate’s commitment to sustainable farming and expressing the unique character of its elevated Mediterranean terroir.
