Tasting Note

Intense red with purple tones. It has a very fresh aroma, full of flowers and fruits sensations that are confirmed in the palate. It is cheerful and lively, and expresses citrus flavours and memories of summer bone fruits, such as peach and apricot. In the end it appears so vibrant and enjoyable that makes us want to drink more.

Product Notes

Costers del Priorat Pissarres Tinto wine is a captivating Spanish blend that emanates from the verdant hills of Priorat. Its intense ruby hue gives way to a complex bouquet of ripe black fruits, sweet spices and a hint of mineral undertones. Upon tasting, expressive notes of plum, blackcurrants and a touch of vanilla elegantly merge on the palate. The full-bodied wine is beautifully balanced with fine-grained tannins and a fruitful finish. Decidedly a wine for the discerning palate, it pairs superbly with robust meat dishes or ripe cheeses, adding a touch of luxury to every occasion.

About the Winery

Costers del Priorat is a boutique winery located in the heart of Spain’s renowned DOQ Priorat region in Catalonia, near the village of El Molar. Founded in 2000 by a group of experienced winegrowers and wine entrepreneurs including Enric Solé, Pau Urgell, Josep Massana, Marc Massana and Josep Ramon Sedó, the project was created to capture the rugged character and diversity of Priorat’s dramatic slate-soil vineyards.
