Tasting Note

Expressive and refined, with ripe peach, mirabelle plum and citrus complemented by delicate floral and subtle smoky notes. The palate is generous and creamy yet impressively fresh, showing juicy stone fruit, citrus and a fine mineral/saline character. A discreet touch of oak adds texture without overwhelming the fruit, while lively acidity brings precision and energy to the long, tangy finish.

About the Winery

Domaine Thibert

Domaine Thibert is a family-owned estate based in Fuissé, at the heart of the Mâconnais in southern Burgundy. The Thibert family has deep roots in the region, with records of the family in Fuissé dating back several centuries. The modern domaine was established in 1967 by Andrée and René Thibert with only a small area of vines. Over the following decades they steadily expanded the property, building a reputation for precise, terroir-focused expressions of Chardonnay.
