Tasting Note

Pajana is garnet red in colour. The nose is elegant and rounded with lingering fruity and spicy aromas and balsamic undertones. The palate is well-balanced and intense, and the finish is long.

Product Notes

The Domenico Clerico Barolo Pajana wine is a superb Italian red renowned for its nuanced character and rich flavour profile. Exemplifying the finest of Piedmont's terroir, the wine plunges you into a world of sumptuous dark fruits, violet, exotic spices and cassis, underscored by a mature earthiness. Hints of sweet tobacco and crushed stone further complexify the taste. On the palate, the wine is gracefully layered, displaying considerable depth and a sturdy yet fine-grained tannin backbone. The Pajana exhibits a delicate balance of boldness and elegance; a classic Barolo that marries power and refinement, promising a long, impressive ageing potential.
