About the Winery

Domenico Clerico

Located in the heart of the iconic Barolo region in Italy, the Domenico Clerico winery has a history steeped in the world's most aromatic wines. Established in the late 1970s by Domenico Clerico, a leading figure in the Italian wine industry, it now stands as a reminder of his passion for the vine.

Upon his passing in 2017, the reigns of the winery were handed over to his longtime assistant, Oscar Arrivabene, who pledged to carry on the rich tradition of handcrafting distinguished wines with the same commitment and fervour. Alongside sublime single-vineyard Barolos, the winery also produces an impressive array of Dolcettos and Barberas.

Not just known for its inherent history and high-quality wines, Domenico Clerico winery also equally appreciates contemporary winemaking techniques; While factors like climate and terroir inevitably bear their mark; the refined skill and innovative ideas of the winemaker cannot be underestimated.
