Kautz & Kramer is a distinguished California wine label established by the Kautz family, one of the region’s pioneering vineyard owners. Created to honour the marriage of John Kautz and Gail Kramer in 1958, the brand reflects the family’s long-standing commitment to quality and innovation in winemaking. It embodies both tradition and craftsmanship, producing wines that showcase the character of Lodi and the Sierra Foothills.

The Kautz family operates Kautz Vineyards Inc., a family-owned estate managing more than 7,000 acres of vineyards. Kautz & Kramer serves as the family’s premium line, focusing on small-batch, vineyard-specific wines that highlight the diversity of their estate fruit.

Among their most notable releases are the Cabernet Sauvignon “Block 50” from Lodi and a refined Cabernet Franc from Sheldon Ranch. These wines are admired for their depth and elegance, with layers of dark fruit, vanilla, spice, and subtle oak, capturing the essence of California’s rich winegrowing heritage.
