About the Winery

Established in 1638 by Nicolaus Kopke, the Kopke Winery is renowned as the oldest port wine house in the beautiful Douro Valley region of Portugal. This immensely popular winery was founded by a German family with a strong passion for the art of winemaking. Over the course of four centuries, it has continued to uphold its commitment to producing exquisite wines and ports of superior quality.
