About Mura Mura

Mura Mura is a modern yet deeply rooted winery in Piedmont, Italy, founded in 2008 by lifelong friends Guido Martinetti and Federico Grom, the entrepreneurs behind the celebrated GROM gelato brand. Inspired by a philosophy of “slow living” and a respect for land and tradition, they envisioned Mura Mura as more than a winery: a place where viticulture, gastronomy, and hospitality coexist in harmony.

The estate, situated in Costigliole d’Asti, covers around 30 hectares of rolling hills and terraces, planted with classic Piedmontese varieties such as Barbera, Grignolino, Nebbiolo, and Moscato. In addition, Mura Mura has acquired prized parcels in the prestigious Barbaresco and Barolo crus, including historic vineyards in Serralunga d’Alba, allowing them to produce Nebbiolo wines of world-class pedigree. All vineyards are farmed sustainably and are SQNPI-certified, highlighting their commitment to environmental stewardship.

Mura Mura’s portfolio is anchored by two lines: Rigore, which reflects precision and terroir through single-cru Nebbiolo wines, and Fantasia, a creative exploration of Piedmont’s diversity through expressive blends and varietals. Alongside wine, the estate offers a boutique relais, fine dining at the restaurant Radici, and immersive experiences among the vines. Today, Mura Mura represents a contemporary vision of Piedmont, where elegance, authenticity, and innovation converge.
