Product Notes

De Trafford Blueprint Syrah is an exquisite South African wine that encapsulates quality and grace. Deep in hue, it reveals sumptuous berry and, chocolate undertones, and a hint of pepper and spice. Matured in French oak barrels, it imparts a delicate smoky character and velvety tannins. The well-balanced acidity and extended finish create a delightful palate experience. With its complexity and depth, this vintage pairs well with rich red meats and mature cheeses. A beautifully layered wine, De Trafford Blueprint Syrah exemplifies the elegance inherent in South African winemaking.

Tasting Notes

Vibrant brambleberry and plum nose with notes of nutmeg, black pepper and eucalyptus. Fresh, lively palate with crunchy tannins and all the brambleberry and spice flavors coming through.

Currently, the De Trafford winery produces approximately 3,500 cases yearly, with the eminent "Elevation 393" being one of their outstanding red blends. Also, famous is their range of flavourful Chenin Blanc that offers unique undertones of quince and apples;
