Tasting Note

Golden-amber in colour, with an expressive nose of orchard blossom, ripe apple and pear, complemented by subtle herbal and mineral notes. The palate is rounded and textured, with juicy orchard fruit balanced by fresh acidity and a gentle grip from extended skin contact. Mineral nuances from ageing in clay add complexity, leading to a long, clean and persistent finish.

Alonso & Pedrajo Nauda Viura is a sublime Spanish wine, featuring the classic Viura grape from the region of Rioja. This divine potion delivers a strikingly bright colour with a brilliant clarity. The nose presents elegant floral traces combined with delightful citrus elements. Upon tasting, one can expect rich flavours of refreshing minerals and fruits, bringing a fine balance of tartness and sweetness. About the Winery

Alonso & Pedrajo represents a new generation of Rioja producers, combining the region’s long tradition of extended ageing with a more adventurous, low-intervention approach to winemaking. Based in Villalba de Rioja, beneath the Montes Obarenes in the north-western corner of Rioja Alta, this small family project produces distinctive wines with a strong emphasis on vineyard origin, texture and individuality.
