Product Notes

Nestled in the heart of California, Anthill Farms Winery presents its remarkable Baker Ranch Vineyard Pinot Noir. This exquisite wine holds a splendid ruby hue, offering a rich nose of ripe cherries, forest floor, and delicate spices. On the palate, it's a rhapsody of luscious raspberry, subtle clove and balmy oak, striking a perfect balance between acidity and tannins. Unfurling in sophisticated complexity, this Pinot Noir is an ode to finesse and elegance, with a lingering, mellow finish. It's a true representation of Anthill Farms' dedication to organic farming and meticulous winemaking. Enjoy this impressive Californian gem.

Tasting Notes

Aromas of cherry liqueur, green tea and jasmine on the nose, followed by subtle hints of fresh mushroom. On the palate this wine offers a velvety, smooth mouthfeel and a very intense mid-palate. Juicy acids and subtle tannins add structure and complement the gentle sweetness of the fruit. It ends with a beautifully long, floral and spicy finish

About the Winery

Anthill Farms Winery

Established in 2004, Anthill Farms Winery is a beguiling marriage of talent and passion ensconced in the majestic beauty of Sonoma County, California. This small-scale winery is the brainchild of three fervent wine-making enthusiasts, Dave Low, Anthony Filiberti and Webster Marquez, who share an enviable harmony in their dedication to create compelling and distinctive wines: wines that beautifully harmonise with the extravagant landscapes from which their grapes are cultivated.

Their cosmopolitan backgrounds in the wine industry, both domestically and internationally have inspired their philosophies. Here, the emphasis is firmly on a minimalist approach to vinification, allowing the integrity and unique character of the grape to resonate through the wine. Meticulous in their attention to detail, the team at Anthill Farms Winery select the finest grape clusters at optimum maturity, harnessing the potential of the vine to the very last berry.

Anthill's portfolio offers a breathtaking-spectrum of varietal wines, rooted in the rousing terroir of Sonoma County. From the robust power of their Pinot Noirs to the gentle finesse of their Syrah and Chardonnay, each bottle encapsulates the very essence of the land on which the grapes are grown.

Perhaps what makes Anthill Farms Winery so enchantingly unique, is their commitment to creating wines in single-vineyard batches. This innovative approach allows each of the individual vineyards' personalities to shine through, producing wines that are as layered and complex as the land itself.

In addition to their dedicated practices, the winery is also recognised for its emphasis on environmental sustainability. Committed to organic farming and water conservation, Anthill's approach to wine production is as much about the nurturing of the environment.

As a haven of artisan winemaking Anthill Farms Winery, continues to delight and inspire with memorable wines with that echo the spirit, of the remarkable landscapes that gift them their enchanting charm.
