Tasting Note

Light pink salmon colour. Strawberries and rose petals on the nose. A hint of watermelon and crushed pomegranate on the palate, rounded off with fresh acidity for a delicious, lingering mouth-feel.

Product Notes

Babylonstoren Mourvèdre Rosé is a resplendent South African wine characterised by its vivacious salmon pink hue. On the palate, expect refreshing bursts of red cherries and ripe strawberries, harmoniously blended with light, savoury spice notes. This elegantly dry rosé has a robust structure and crisp acidity, boasting impeccable balance and a lingering finish. Produced by renowned winemaker Klaas Stoffberg from an old indigenous variety, this wine is a delightful representation of the rich terroir of the Babylonstoren’s estate. It’s an excellent summer companion, perfect for al fresco dining or as an aperitif.
