Tasting Note

The Bodega Cerrón La Servil 2023 is a vibrant Monastrell from Jumilla, Spain, showing a bright ruby color and an expressive nose of cherries, raspberries, and subtle vanilla from 12 months in large French oak foudres. On the palate, it is structured yet elegant, with balanced acidity, smooth tannins, and a mineral backbone reflecting its high-altitude calcareous soils. The finish is long and persistent, leaving a lingering fruity impression, capturing both freshness and complexity in a polished, approachable style.

Product Notes

A splendid product of Bodega Cerrón, the La Servil wine is a marvellous showcase of Spanish viticulture. This fine wine from Jumilla offers an intoxicating blend of Monastrell and Syrah grapes, revealing layered notes of ripe black fruits, delicate spices, and subtle hints of oak. Each sip delivers a robust, full-bodied character, perfectly balanced with smooth tannins and a lengthy finish. The La Servil wine is a medium-intense ruby red in colour, embodying an enchanting composition of well-rounded depth and complexity. A favourite among connoisseurs, this wine brings an exquisite touch to a fine dining experience.

About the Winery

Bodega Cerrón

Bodega Cerrón is a modern, family-run winery situated in Fuente-Álamo, in Spain’s Jumilla DO, a region renowned for its rugged, high-altitude vineyards. While the Cerrón family has been cultivating grapes in the area for over a century, they established the winery in 2011 to produce estate-bottled wines that fully express the character of their vineyards.
