Tasting Note

The wine is fresh and lively on the nose, delivering intensely exotic aromas of mango and passion fruit. Smooth and well-balanced on the palate, it offers a delightful blend of lychee, peach, and apricot flavours with a wet stone note on the finish. The wine displays great delicacy and elegance.

Product Notes

Domaine Cauhapé Ballet d'Octobre is a spectacular dessert wine hailing from the South West region of France. Made from late-harvested Petit Manseng grapes, it marvellously balances sweet, luscious notes of honey, ripe pear, and tropical fruit with a verve of acidity that keeps everything fresh and invigorating. Its golden colour and rich, complex flavours reflect the sun-soaked vineyards of its origin. Offering a lingering finish, the Ballet d'Octobre is a delightful companion to a cheese platter or light desserts. Each sip invites you to savour the mild, autumnal sweetness exclusive to this exceptional wine.

About the Winery

Domaine Cauhapé

Domaine Cauhapé was founded in 1970 when winemaker and label artist Henri Ramonteu transformed his family’s cattle farm in Monein, Jurançon, into a vineyard estate. He produced his first sweet wines in 1980, followed by dry wines in 1984, and the domaine is now recognised as one of Jurançon’s leading producers.
