Product Notes

Domaine Jaeger-Defaix Rully 1er Cru Blanc Mont-Palais is an exceptional white wine from Burgundy, France. This premier Cru wine boasts a beautifully balanced profile, marked by delicate citrus fruits, white flowers, and an unmistakable mineral undertone. Elegant and full-bodied, it lingers pleasingly on the palate, revealing nuanced complexities such as almond and flecks of toasted bread. A tour de force of French viticulture, this wine is structured with refined acidity and a robust maturity, making it an excellent companion for a variety of dishes. An expertly-crafted expression of exceptional terroir, it captures the quintessence of its origin.

About the Winery

Domaine Jaeger-Defaix

Domaine Jaeger-Defaix is a family-run Burgundy estate based in Rully, in the Côte Chalonnaise of France. The domaine is owned and managed by Hélène Jaeger-Defaix, who represents the fifth generation of a Chablis-rooted winegrowing family. After working in the wine trade and alongside her husband, Didier Defaix of Domaine Bernard Defaix in Chablis, Hélène took over her family’s historical vineyards in Rully starting in 2002. Today, she oversees both vineyard and cellar operations, applying the same meticulous, organic-focused philosophy practiced by the Defaix family in Chablis.
