Tasting Note

Vibrant and layered aromas of fresh raspberries and blueberries are intertwined with fresh herbs, sandalwood and hints of bell pepper and mint. A refined, precise tannin structure underpins ripe blackcurrant and dried spice, with mineral nuances and a subtle herbal edge, highlighting its nerve and finesse.

Product Notes

Bodega Aleanna Gran Enemigo Agrelo Single Vineyard is an exemplary Argentinian wine that illustrates the epitome of quality winemaking. This majestic Cabernet Franc is expertly blended with a dash of Malbec, giving it a full-bodied, complex flavour profile. Exhibiting luscious, deep black fruit aromas and undertones of spice, it paints a rich, velvety palate. A distinguished, layered finish with savoury hints nods to the terroir of Agrelo. Each sip enthrals you, commanding your attention, truly a testament to the vineyard's superior craftsmanship. Aged in French oak, it's not just a wine, it's an experience.

About the Winery

El Enemigo

El Enemigo was founded in 2010 by Adrianna Catena, daughter of Nicolás Catena Zapata, along with Alejandro Vigil, the award-winning head winemaker of Bodega Catena Zapata. The El Enemigo vineyards are located in the Piedemonte al Sur region of Mendoza, south of Luján de Cuyo, at high altitudes between 930 and 1,470 metres. El Enemigo was born from a desire to carve their own path and a shared obsession with terroir.
