Tasting Note

A very complex Pinot Noir from this outstanding producer. Rounded and velvety with lashings of cranberries, raspberries and soft smoky flavours.

Product Notes

The François Crochet Sancerre Rouge Resérve de Marcigoué is made from 100% Pinot Noir and is a magnificent representation of Sancerre Rouge at its finest. It boasts an elegant dark cherry hue with a superb nose of red and black fruits, while on the palate, it's beautifully structured with sumptuous and bright acidity. Distinct mineral tones emerge through its fine, silky tannins, linked to the terroir of the Marcigoué Vineyard. Aged for a year in oak barrels, it exhibits a tranquil nature of refinement and balance, and is a true testament to the magic of the Loire Valley.
