About the Winery

La Fiorita

Nestled within the picturesque Tuscan landscape, lies the illustrious La Fiorita winery. It encapsulates the true essence of Italian culture and viticulture – growing and nurturing their esteemed Brunello di Montalcino through a unique blend of tradition and innovative wine-making techniques. The vineyard's reputation is synonymous with quality, overseeing every stage of production to ensure every bottle reflects the intricate character of the region.

Established in 1992 by the wine enthusiast duo Roberto Cipresso and Federico Ricci, La Fiorita’s beginnings were humble with just one hectare of grapevines at the Poggio al Sole location. However, within a few years, this vibrant winery expanded its acreage, acquiring two more vineyards, Pian Bossolino and Podere La Fiorita. These fertile plots have contributed to the sumptuous, robust flavours that characterise La Fiorita’s Brunello wines.

Over time, La Fiorita has grown to become a beacon in the world of Italian wine. Their premium reserve of Brunello di Montalcino, crafted from 100% Sangiovese grapes is the embodiment of the winery’s qualitative and passionate workings. In an innovative move the winery designed a winemaking triangle of large, medium and small barrels, to create a harmonious balance of flavours. With this pioneering approach, their wines are marked by distinct personality, depth and complexity.

The winery, despite its substantial growth and popularity, stays true to its origins with a focus on environmental sustainability. A commitment to ethical practices and responsible water management is evidence of their respect for the land that yields their luxurious wines.

As a result? The wines from La Fiorita are not simple beverages, but works of art, embodying their commitment to excellence and reflecting the passion they hold for every stage of the wine-making process.

Visitors to the winery are welcomed with open arms, offering private tastings and tours of the cellars. Indeed, an intimate dip into the colourful world of La Fiorita. Whether a connoisseur or a casual appreciator, there is no doubt that a trip to La Fiorita is an unforgettable journey through the richness, beauty and history of Tuscan viticulture.
