Royal Oporto 20 Year Old Tawny Port is a richly matured Portuguese fortified wine with an elegant, mellow character. Aged in oak, it displays an amber-tawny hue and inviting aromas of dried fruit, toasted nuts, caramel and spice. On the palate, layers of fig, raisin and orange peel mingle with hints of vanilla and toffee, balanced by freshness and a smooth, lingering finish. Serve slightly chilled in a small glass, either on its own or alongside desserts, blue cheese or roasted almonds. A refined after-dinner choice, it offers a warming expression of the Douro Valley’s long tradition of port making.
