The Pio Cesare Barbera d’Alba ‘Fides’ wine beautifully expresses its Piedmontese heritage. This continental Italian variety impresses with a delightful array of ripe red fruits, plums, spices and subtle oak notes. The palate is gracefully layered and gravelly, with rich cherries, currants sophisticatedly mingling with soft tannins and bright acidity. The finish is plush, long-lasting underpinned by understated mineral undertones. Wonderfully balanced to allure connoisseurs, this wine boasts of complex character deserving of its royal status.
