Tasting Note

Classic citrus rind flavours and a bite of tannin, whilst remaining fresh and laden with fruit. Pale golden in colour, the nose is savoury and bright, with apple skin, peach and waxy notes. The palate is clean and fresh, with a complex savoury character, fresh apple, lemon and orchard fruit flavours, a hint of herbs and a dry textural finish which lingers, developing nutty notes.

Product Notes

Podere Le Ripi Canna Torta Bianco IGT Toscana is an enchanting Tuscan wine offering a delightful fusion of florals and fruits. Crafted in the picturesque Siena hills, it delivers a decadent palate experience with notes of ripe pear, apple and subtle oak hint. Its divine aromatic complexity reveals layers of white flowers and gentle spices. The depth of flavours is complemented by a rounded texture and well-balanced acidity that lead to a crisp and persistent finish. Evoking a sense of the splendid Italian terroir, this elegant wine perfectly complements seafood dishes and white meats. Seductive and refined, it's a must-try for wine enthusiasts.

About the Winery

Nestled in the rolling hills of southern Tuscany, Podere Le Ripi has become one of Montalcino’s most distinctive biodynamic estates. The winery was founded in 1998 by Francesco Illy, heir to the famous Illy coffee family, after he fell in love with the wild landscape surrounding Montalcino while working as a nature photographer. What began as a personal dream slowly evolved into a serious wine project centred on sustainability, biodiversity and low-intervention farming.
