Product Notes

San Polo Brunello di Montalcino is an exceptional Italian wine from Tuscany. Laced with tender notes of ripe berries, this full-bodied red offers a robust structure with an alluring fine-grain texture. Its maturity is exemplified through a complex flavour profile displaying dried cherries and hints of cocoa with a wisp of decadent spice. The finish is long and satisfyingly silkworthy. Displaying masterful tannin integration, this Brunello di Montalcino is a prime example of superior winemaking. It is bold, yet wonderfully balanced, rewarding the palate with an imposing and beautiful expression of the Sangiovese grape variety. A fine wine for discerning collectors.

Tasting Notes

In the glass, this Brunello has an intense ruby red colour with garnet hues. The typical aromas of violets and red berries are followed by hints of vanilla, cedar and coffee. On the palate, it is full-bodied and warm with a densely-woven texture and robust tannins, while the finish is persistent and rounded.
