Tasting Note
Made for a selection of Nero d’Avola grapes cultivated on the high hills. It expresses the primary aromas, without excess from the ripening process, it’s distinguished by the variety from the warmest parts of Sicily. Different age barriques provide soft and elegant tannins, with subtle hints of wood. Its name comes from the Sicilian word for love, “L’Amore”, the same love that Tasca d’Almerita put into its work.

Tasca d'Almerita - Tenuta Regaleali Lamùri Nero d'Avola is an exquisite Sicilian wine that offers a sensory delight. Aged in French oak barrels, it boasts a lavish ruby red tone. It entices with an aromatic bouquet of red berries and spices, an underlayer of vanilla enhancing its complexity. On the palate, it presents a harmonious balance of tannin and acidity, integrating flavours of sour cherries and dark chocolate. This wine superbly showcases the native Nero d'Avola grape's potential in producing full-bodied, textured reds with a lingering finish. An ideal accompaniment to red meats or mature cheeses.
