Tasting Note

A powerful Cahors showing intense dark fruits, plums and blackberries layered with nuances of leather, which follow through to a richly textured palate. Complex and structured, elderberry and blackberry are enveloped by hints of vanilla and focussed mineral notes. Beautifully balanced with a long persistent finish.

Product Notes

Clos Troteligotte K-lys Cahors wine is a unique, deep purple creation from the aromatic Malbec grape. This elegant French wine boasts bursting flavours of dark fruits like blackberry and cherry, along with subtle hints of liquorice and truffles. Further complexity is added through ageing in oak barrels, allowing the addition of rich, spicy undertones. This full-bodied Cahors boasts velvety tannins that perfectly balance its richness, leading to a long and luscious finish. This wine pairs brilliantly with hearty stews or roast beef, proving a delightful addition to any traditional British supper. A bold and enchanting gem from South Western France.
