Tasting Note

Bright and clear golden yellow with elegant notes of pear and acacia honey. The palate is fresh and crisp with a core of expressive stone fruit . The wine is well structured with vibrant acidity and a textural finish.

Product Notes

Château La Verrerie Hautes Collines Blanc wine is a delightful bottle from the south of France. It pours a beautiful straw-like yellow colour. A robust combination of floral, fruity notes on the nose, splashed with hints of citrus and vanilla makes it truly enchanting. On the palate, its exquisite balance between acidity and sweetness creates an exhilarating freshness, while uncovering lavish layers of white peaches, apricots, and melon, infused with subtle oak flavour. The elegant, mineral-laced finish is incredibly refreshing. This white wine is a splendid marriage of Roussanne, Grenache Blanc and Viognier, perfect for a sophisticated soirée or casual gathering.

About the Winery

Château La Verrerie

In 1981, Jean-Louis Descours discovered Château La Verrerie while searching for a project to pursue after retirement. Captivated by the estate’s potential, he acquired the then 20-hectare property and, together with his son Gérard, undertook its revival. A new winery was built, additional vineyard parcels were acquired, and the family committed themselves to a single goal: producing wines of quality and distinction. The estate’s first vintage was released in 1985.
